So for many of you, you might be in a position where you're hesitant, you don't know what to do. There's probably part of you that still gets excited about the aspect of becoming a police officer, that career, that industry. You're also probably facing the other aspect of what is going on in this profession nationwide.
How's that going to affect me? How's that gonna affect my career and my dreams? For those of you who are meant to do this career, this type of profession, it is going to be hard to stay away from it. That calling is a part of who you are....it's that itch that won't go away.
Departments are hiring, they are looking for good qualified applicants. They're searching hard for that. In that aspect, right now is a great time to try to get on. Agencies are looking for the best. If you are the best, then don't hesitate.
I encourage you to keep searching, look for that right department, look for that right city. And once you 've found that department, do everything you can to stand out, to be the best applicant in front of them. Good luck!
